Probably the most important part of the body to a deer is a nice set of antlers. They depend on them to fight off their enemies, defend themselves and to locate food. What many folks don't realize is that people can use them too. Deer antlers brought back from a deer hunt have many uses. Here are some of the most popular uses.

Decoration, Art, and Furniture

Deer antlers can be used to decorate a home or they can be used to craft things such as knife handles, candle holders, and walking stick tops. They have been used to make chandeliers, lamp stands, drawer pulls and handles, leg tables, and other furniture and objects. Those who go deer hunting can make use of deer antlers. They can use them to try to get the attention of a nearby deer. By rattling two deer antlers together, they would be making a noise that is similar to something like a deer call since it sounds like two deer butting antlers together. Many times, it will cause nearby deer to become curious enough to investigate.
